With Webperf Cloud you can also order re-runs and one-off page tests whenever you like, for example right after a deployment. It also includes support, so you have someone to ask if a result looks wrong.
From where?
The tests run from servers inside the EU, with Glesys and Oderland in Sweden and Hetzner in Finland and Germany, plus hardware operated by Webperf AB in Sweden.
A CDN can produce unexpected results
If you use a CDN, traffic from different test servers may be handled differently. A CDN can answer from a node in another country depending on where the request comes from, which affects the privacy and security scores. If you see unexplained differences between runs, the CDN configuration is a good place to start looking.
Recognising Webperf's bot
The bot identifies itself like this:

The tests also use other user agents depending on the test type, since several of them drive real browsers. Which string is used can be configured with general.useragent.
Letting us in
Webperf Cloud customers can have their websites tested from static IP addresses, which you can allowlist in your firewall or WAF. That makes it possible to test a staging environment behind a firewall or a protected production site. You get the address list when the feature is enabled, and you're notified if it changes.
