Trial and purchase
How does the free trial work?
You get 14 days of monitoring for one website at Starter level, without entering a card. Fill in your work email and your website's address, then confirm through the link we send. Your email domain has to match the website. So name@example.com can start a trial for example.com. Each domain can be trialled once.
The trial doesn't include data export, IndexNow or webhooks.
How do I buy?
Starter and Standard can be bought directly on the website: you confirm your email and pay by card. One payment covers twelve months. Agency, and anything that needs tailoring, we set up together. Get in touch.
Do subscriptions renew automatically?
No. You pay once for a year and are never charged automatically again. There's no ongoing contract and nothing to cancel. If you want to continue, you simply buy more time.
How do I upgrade from Starter to Standard?
Get in touch and you pay the difference. There's no need to cancel or start over, and your history comes with you.
Account and login
I never got a password
There are no passwords. You enter your email on the login page and we send you a sign-in link. It's valid for 48 hours and works once you click it.
Testing
What is tested?
Accessibility against WCAG, performance, web standards and best practice, privacy and information security, and on-page SEO. Every tier also includes an audit of cookies set without consent and of which third-party services your pages contact.
The tests come from the open source engine Webperf Core, so you can read exactly what is measured and why.
What score scale is used?
1 to 5, where 5 is best. You get one overall score plus separate scores for accessibility, web standards, performance and privacy, so you can see which area moved when the total changes.
How often is my website tested?
Daily on Starter, up to twice a day on Standard and Agency. On top of that you can re-run manually, up to 30 times a month on Starter and 90 on Standard. You can also order one-off page tests whenever you like.
Can you test a staging site, or a site behind a firewall?
Yes, on Standard and Agency. We can test from static IP addresses that you allowlist in your firewall or WAF. You get the list when the feature is enabled and are notified if it changes. Sites that shouldn't be treated as public can be flagged as an intranet. Contact support and we'll arrange it.
Why don't your numbers match PageSpeed Insights?
Both run Google Lighthouse, but in different lab conditions. Servers, throttling, hardware and cache state all move the number, and a 10–15 point gap is normal. What matters is the trend within one tool.
Quotas and reports
What's the difference between the monthly audit and the baseline report?
The monthly audit goes through the website on a recurring basis, up to 250 pages on Starter and 750 on Standard. The baseline report is a one-time snapshot of up to 2,000 pages included when you start on Standard, and you choose when to run it. More about both.
How do the test quotas work?
The account has a combined allowance that audits, re-runs and one-off page tests all draw from. It runs on a rolling 30-day window. If an order would exceed what you have left, you're told before anything runs.
Data
Where is my data hosted?
Inside the EU. The servers run with Glesys and Oderland in Sweden and Hetzner in Finland and Germany, plus hardware operated by Webperf AB in Sweden. Data isn't sold, isn't shared with advertisers and isn't used to train AI models.
Can I export my data?
Yes. From the tools page in the dashboard you can order an export of your full history as a CSV file. The data remains yours to export even after a subscription ends. Export isn't available during the trial.
Is the testing engine really open source?
Yes. The engine is webperf_core, publicly available on GitHub. Every test is code you can read, question and run yourself.
